Exploring

I have just explored Flickr and I am amazed! All of the technology available is unbelievable to


me. I had NO IDEA that there is so many place to host images and all the things you can do with


photos on the web. I loved seeing the idea of coloring pages, I looked at Leeuwarden and the island photos. The low perspective pics were cute as well as all animal ones. Then you are


slapped back to reality when you see the tone mapped picture of Burnside's Bridge at A

Antietnam. So much in connection with tools and resources.

What a collection at the Library of Congress. I looked at Civil War photos and alot to

personal photos. I saw an amusing photo titled "Fast Food" - a bear standing upstream

with his mouth open as the fish jump the rapids
Checked out the LVA site. Great to have access to these pictures that could well have
been "buried" and never available for use. Not too many comments posted on the LVA.
Guess it is relatively new to most.

I enjoyed the adventure and found several areas that I will go back to and use.
